Norton V4SS Swing Arm, designed and engineered here at Norton. CNC machined from a 65kg billet taking over 26 hours of machining time. Then it comes to the fab shop for final fabrication and polishing, although we leave the CNC machine cut marks in as we think they look great. Note the pocketed sections to provide stiffness and flex, developed for best handling.
The 7020 Aluminium Tube was developed for motorcycle frames. It’s super strong yet light weight, milled to order by the kilometre. The 7020 tube forms the main structure in all our V4 frames. Proven faultless on the infamous Isle of Man TT course. - In the frame fabrication process, all tubes are hand bent in house, fettled and hand polished. These are then welded into the sub-assemblies ready for the final assembly, which is then polished again ready for production build. - From start to finish it takes approximately 150 hrs of CNC, cutting, welding, polishing and skilled work to manufacture a complete chassis.
