Job Description - IT Support Technician

Entering a new era, we are scaling globally and this role will give successful recruits the opportunity to be a part of that growth. This role will be based in our state-of-the-art facilities in Solihull, West Midlands, working within our tight-knit but ever-expanding team.
We are looking for a motivated individual to be responsible for providing first line hardware and software support to the internal staff. This will involve answering and actioning staff requests.
The role will also involve regular maintenance of End User Devices (checking Windows updates, software updates, McAfee patch etc.) Additional to this role will have chance to join is some interesting projects that have lot of learning and physical experience.
Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
● Deal and resolve incoming requests
● Ensure user backups are carried out in accordance with procedures
● Assist in the build and configuration of PCs
● Resolve any issues and escalate accordingly
● Desktop support
● Hardware/software support
● Good client skills
● Mobile telephony
● Microsoft Operating Systems
● Microsoft Office O365
● Hardware and Software Knowledge
● Linux knowledge
