Duties and Responsibilities

The processes, other team members and facilities; do this though learning the internal procedures, understanding their importance and recognising the value in the resource and equipment provided.
The need for change in an evolving department; do this through a willingness to change, be open to need ideas and bring forward your suggestions for improvement during team discussions.
Internal and external departmental obstacles; do this by demonstrating a proactive approach to issue resolution.
Builds to protocol; to do this vehicle and component assemblies must be built to give confidence in what we are testing. When issues occur, knowing the state of build is key to resolution.
Tests to protocol; to do this repeatable testing to the agreed procedure is the only way for a true comparison of results.
Reports; to do the input and output of data sets from each test must be complete and accurate.
Flexibility to support a dynamic program
Take pride in facilities practising good housekeeping.
Vehicle preparation focused on rider safety.
Completing work records and logs.
To work outside of build manuals when necessary.
Support local and distant testing.
6yrs+ served in automotive, motorsport or similar industry. While not essential motorcycle experience if desirable.
Hands-on experience across all disciplines including Chassis, Powertrain, Electrical and EV are desirable.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Clean car license.
While a motorcycle license is not essential, a full clean license and riding experience are desirable.
Ability to travel both local and abroad if needed.
