General Manager - Norton Birmingham

Norton Birmingham is a “business within a business”, selling  motorcycles, parts, service, repair, and maintenance directly to the owners of Norton motorcycles.  We are looking for a manager to run the operation which currently has a team of five.  The role will report directly to the Head of Sales & Aftersales.  In this role you will have the opportunity to develop the business to meet and exceed the commercial and customer service targets that are expected from Norton’s own retail operation.

The role will initially be based at our new HQ in Solihull.


The Sales & Aftersales Department

The team is responsible for the global distribution of Norton’s products and services, including motorcycles, parts and accessories as well as meeting all our customers’ requirements for aftersales support.  In addition to providing retail expertise the manager will be expected to contribute towards meeting the whole team’s objectives.


Role, duties, and responsibilities

  • Manage the first new Norton Customer Centre (NCC)

  • Achieve Sales, Profit and Customer Service targets

  • Manage and grow the Norton Birmingham team

  • Ensure that the NCC meets all regulatory requirements

  • Produce budgets and forecasts for the commercial activity

  • Continuously improve the retail operation

  • Contribute to the development of the company’s retail strategy
