Junior Production Engineer

This role will be based in our state-of-the-art facilities in Solihull, West Midlands, working within our tight-knit but ever-expanding team. Based in the manufacturing side of the business, specifically in the Assembly Department where new motorcycles and engines are produced.
The job requires a range of technical and practical skills, where supporting day-to-day operations goes hand-in-hand with the introduction of new equipment and planning for future models.
Role is reporting to the Operations Manager.
Experience:
2 years + experience of production facilities / production line operations. Preferred to be in the automotive sector, or motorcycle related.
Experience of implementation of new equipment in a production environment, specifically:
Experience of Process / Documentation control in a manufacturing environment
Experience and working knowledge of MS office software.
Experience in Risk Assessments and Puwer Assessments is advantageous
Awareness of Permits to Work and Lock-Out/Tag-out procedures
CREO / AutoCAD Experience preferred but not desirable
Daily Duties:
Producing and logging Process FMEA Reports and conducting Audits
Producing Audits of Poke Yoke Solutions and Kaizen Walks
Supporting and implementing solutions for production, manufacturing & stores
Managing individual projects of solutions
Supporting in Training and roll out of process sheets
Control Daily PDCA Sheets and awareness across production following EOL Inspections
Creation of Visual Guides across production
Support in the creation and monitoring of Daily & Weekly KPIs
Support and implementation of 5S audits
Design change sign off
Attending daily review meetings
Implementing and managing TPM database, schedule and varied equipment TPM schedules.
Supporting the Production department in raising Consumable Order and Tooling purchase requests
