Consumer and Market Insights Manager

We are looking for experienced Consumer and Market Insights Manager to join our rapidly growing Marketing Team. This role will manage all insights requirements for Brand and Marketing, including continuous tracking programmes and primary research.
The role is key in championing the customer voice as well as analysing the market trends, ensuring we put those insights at the heart of the marketing decision making process.
Role, duties and responsibilities
Represent the voice of the potential Norton customer, to help drive a customer-led organisation
Own and lead the development of insights linked to our key sources of Consumer and Market data and introduce/plan for new data sources and tools
Influence decision making processes in the Norton Marketing Team and Senior Management Team
Work in conjunction with the Sales Team to maximise benefit and return from Insights
Maintain data quality across diverse data sources to ensure accuracy and quality
Project management of primary research (both qualitative and quantitative)
To deliver total category insights highlighting category trends and brand performance
Work with Marketing and Sales team to identify category opportunities and translate into winning customer activation
Contribute to the planning process by support thinking on market and initiative sizing, based on local and global macro trends
Deliver timely and effective adhoc research projects responding to business questions from multi-functional team, with clear actionable insights e.g. copy testing, product functionality testing
Building an CX measurement and tracking process
Weekly and monthly marketing performance tracking
Developing a process for capturing and disseminating industry trends/insights)
Who we're looking for
Possess knowledge and experience in building strong relationships with stakeholders at various levels in an organisation and across varying functions
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience and relevant Bachelor's degree
Able to demonstrate comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of Market and Consumer Insights theory, strategy and best practice
Able to manipulate, interpret and analyse data effectively, creating compelling stories that provoke further thought/action
Passionate about the automotive/motorcycle market
Ability to leverage the analyses of a variety of sources of data to develop solid, actionable recommendations that address specific goals/objectives and challenges
Works with fair level of autonomy, is able to prioritise, but knows when to escalate problems
Strong task management capabilities to manage multiple tracks of work and requirements
Fully proficient in standard IT packages (but with an advanced knowledge of MS Excel)
Knowledge of Power BI would also be desirable
Experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously / multi-tasking
Is resilient and flexible, adapts to new challenges
Strong communication skills in all forms, ensure proper team documentation and to coordinate a team's outward communication
MRS Membership and/or Accreditation (or equivalent) preferred
