Frames and swing arms are ready to be sent off to powder coating where they are pre-treated and coated in a modern, robust black coating.

The frames have an integral oil tank that is pressure tested on site at Norton to ensure durability and keep control of Norton’s high quality standards.

The frames and swing arms use a combination of TiG and MiG welding techniques depending on a number of factors such as material type, weld access and aesthetics.Read More

Mal Childs, secretary of the Essex Norton Owners Club called into the factory today to take delivery of his dual seat 961 Commando. Mal designed an original paint scheme for the bike which was derived from the NRV 588 race bike colours. The bike looks stunning and is one of the first batch of dual seat bikes to come from the factory.

Norton CEO Stuart Garner congratulated Mal on his stunning bike, Mal has earmarked the NOC AGM on 7th April for his first ride out… We look forward to seeing him arrive in style!
