Norton travels America

We’re sad to see the Motorcycle Live show in Birmingham drawing to a close this weekend but the fun doesn’t stop there. Our calendar is jam-packed and over the next few weeks Norton are travelling across America to showcase the best of British.

Last weekend Norton was at the International Motorcycle show in San Francisco. With a prime position directly at the entrance, thousands of people descended on our stand to get a feel for the Commando 961 range. The show was a huge success and surpassed Norton’s expectations. We came up trumps with the majority of customers and members of the press rating Norton as the most exciting exhibitor at the show.

San Franciscans also met their new local dealer – Munroe Motors. As San Francisco’s oldest motorcycle dealer, it has been selling Norton Motorcycles since the 60′s and is extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to finding out more about our motorcycles.

But it doesn’t stop there. We are taking to the US highways again December 2nd – 4th to Dallas then it’s back to the West coast over 9-11th December in Los Angeles. We hope to see you there!

Norton at the NEC

Norton Motorcycle fans were wowed by the Norton Commando 961 range at this week’s Motorcycle Live Show at the NEC.

As well as the Commando 961 Sport and Cafe Racer, we displayed the Black Panther and the NRV588 – current world speed record holder for a rotary powered motorcycle reaching 173mph.

Norton Motorcycles are hand-crafted using world class components from top British manufacturing companies. Some of those first-class suppliers are on hand to showcase their products at our stand. Among the suppliers, Alucast Ltd can be seen polishing engine covers and Central Wheels are lacing wheels.

If you’ve not yet had the chance to visit us, there are still a few days left to get involved in the action! This year, the show is running until Sunday 27th November. Come and talk Norton with members of the team, grab yourself some official Norton merchandise and don’t forget to enter our free prize draw to win a lap on the Black Panther at Donington Park.
