The very first batch of bikes are exported today. Peter Howes, President of Norton Canada is here at the factory sending the bikes on their way. Norton are back in Canada after some 30 years… Further new territories opening in coming weeks, fantastic to be getting these hand built British bikes exported around the world.

After the race team had a hectic time at the TT races, the factory kept busy throughout. The whole team were flat out hand building 961 Commando bikes. Pictured is a real eye catcher, a stunning 961 Cafe Racer in Yellow with hand polished engine cases and you can just make out the Carbon fibre Rear Hugger. Sure to be a real head turner!

Norton return from a successful 2013 TT, factory riders Ian Mackman and Dan Hegarty did a great job under wet and difficult conditions in first practice week. In the first Superbike race aboard the all new Norton SG2 ‘Mackers’ had an amazing race and came home with 18th place securing a bronze replica trophy. ‘Hegatron’ had to pull in after 4 laps with a locked caliper due to stones, very disappointing after a strong race. With more testing required on the engine side we went into the Senior race with standard road spec engines.
