Delivery & Returns Policy for Norton Motorcycles (UK) Ltd
UK Standard Delivery
Deliveries will be made within 2 working days after you place your order [excluding Weekends and/or Bank Holidays]. The cost of UK Standard Delivery is calculated by the total weight of your order. Your order will be sent out via our designated carrier.
All of our deliveries are tracked and require a signature on receipt. You will be notified via text message and/or email with updates of your delivery status. Your order can be delivered anytime between 7am and 9pm and a signature is required on receipt. If you aren't available to take delivery of your parcel, the carrier will attempt a further delivery before sending your item back to Norton Motorcycles (UK) Ltd where a further delivery charge will be applicable.
Unfortunately we cannot deliver on a bank holiday. In this instance please expect your delivery on the next working day.
Standard International shipping is charged dependant on size, weight and destination.
As standard, the service provides tracking information on your parcels. Shipping will be automatically calculated at the checkout page when the delivery destination is selected.
When you place an order, we suggest you have it delivered to a work address rather than a home address, as our couriers only deliver between 9am and 5pm and require a signature on receipt. If you aren't available to take delivery of your parcel, the carrier will attempt a further delivery and attempt to contact you before sending your item back to Norton Motorcycles (UK) Ltd where a further delivery charge will be applicable.
Due to any causes beyond our reasonable control, deliveries may be delayed. These are but not limited to;
- severe weather conditions;
- industrial dispute;
- strike or labour disputes; and
- delay by any government or public or local authority, including the customs of any country here the goods are carried.
Customs or Import Duties
Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.
In addition to the Distance Selling Regulations, you can return any item within 28 days of receipt for a refund of that item or to exchange it for a different size or colour.
For returns made outside the Distance Selling Regulations, we will refund the monetary value of the goods returned to us, at the price you purchased them. This includes sale items.
In all cases, the items returned must be in their original condition, which includes tags and any packaging. For example, shoes are to be returned along with the original shoe box. All goods will be inspected on return.
When refunds are made, the following may affect the amount you have been refunded: delivery charges. Thease are only refunded under cancelled orders made under Distance Selling Regulations or if the goods are faulty.
The goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse. Please ensure you package your returns to prevent any damage to the items or boxes. We are not responsible for any items that are returned to us in error.
