Born and bred in Northampton, the historical centre of the British shoemaking and leather industries, childhood friends Mark Jeffery and Guy West were surrounded by tradition and history from the word go.
Stuart Garner, Norton CEO met Guy West at an event back in 2011 and through raised eyebrows introductions were made. It was Stuart’s eyebrows that were raised as Guy made a spectacular entrance with his effervescent sense of style and individualism.
As the evening developed it become apparent to both Stuart and Guy that they needed to unite these two British institutions and Brands. Both creators of handbuilt products, classic but modern, English but international, the Norton Boot was born.
